Orange Coast College Hot Food Team has recaptured the ACF State Hot Food Team Title!

Friday (Nov, 17th) in a very close match up against Professional Culinary Institute and L.A. Mission College, OCC came out on top with a Silver Medal Overall. The competition was hosted by Chef Jill Bosich at the Gas Company in Downey.
Final Scoring:

OCC 33.74
PCI 33.67
LAMC 33.50

(Last year the PCI edged out OCC for the State title with OCC graduate, former OCC Hot Food Team Coach and Adjunct Instructor, Randy Torres coaching the rival team. The PCI later went on to win the Region and the National title for 2007! PCI recruited Chef Torres after he Coached OCC to a National Title in 2005!)
